Another Mothers day without you

A peaceful silence drenches my soul,
As I remember your face today
I taste my tears, of all the years
`We whispered yesterday
I hear your voice inside of me
As the angels speak softly your name
I feel your warmth through the sunshine
Your touch in each drop of rain
Still floating through time’s endless longing
Still lost in the emptiness space
As your memory drapes to comfort me
I kiss the memory of your beautiful face

Without my Mum

Eight years have been lost without you
…And I taste my tears ~ a little more
The day you went to heaven
Was a day that is no more
I wish the 10th of January
Didn’t really come around
I want to remember only good times
Not the sadness of that sound
Where emptiness and pain
Left me weak and oh, so broken
The day I said goodbye to you
The day when you were taken
But you left me with your heart
That lives inside my soul
For that I’m ever grateful
~ It somehow makes me feel more whole
The angels sing so much louder today
